Prairie Suds in Hosmer, South Dakota

Prairie suds is open for business Monday thru Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and anytime with appointment. Just call ahead if you need to come at  a different time that works better for you. I have natural handmade soaps, made with coconut milk or goats milk. I use coconut oil, olive oil, lard, shea butter and essential oils for fragrance. I use other beneficial ingredients also and there are many different types of soaps to choose from. I also make shampoo bars with jojoba oil, and shea butter. They are made with coconut milk and rosemary essential oil because of there benefits to the hair and scalp, such as, getting rid of dandruff, cutting oiliness, stimulating the scalp and helping  to reduce hair loss. 
I started making a dog shampoo with goats milk, honey, and oatmeal. It has cedarwood oil, and lavender oil. It smells wonderful, makes your dogs hair soft, shiny, and clean. It's all natural so there are no harsh chemicals to irritate your dogs skin. I have used this dog shampoo on my dog and it works great.  It is convenient to use because you just rub the bar on the dogs coat and get a nice lather. There is less waste because your not having liquid soap dripping off your dog and down the drain, or having to fumble around with a bottle while your dog is wanting out of the tub!  Less waste too because you don't have a big plastic bottle to throw away.
I have bath products too such as bath bomb fizzies, bath salts, made with grapeseed oil, olive oil, and essential oils to moisturize your skin while you soak in the nutrients from the Mediterranean sea salts and epsom salts. I also have a brown sugar scrub, and a sea salt scrub made with shea butter and many other very beneficial oils and essential oils to give them a wonderful scent!
I offer all natural  beeswax products such as lip balm with mango butter, scented with lemon, sweet orange, grapefruit, or peppermint essential oils. I also have a tinted version that gives you just a little color. I have lotion bars made with cocoa butter and coconut oil. There are also several different types of my Ultra Rich Skin Cream, such as, unscented that smells like the cocoa butter that is in it, citrus scent, from a blend of citrus essential oils, or an acne formula that has a grapefruit scent. I have had many people use the ultra rich skin cream and have great success clearing up eczema, acne, severly dry skin, brown spots, and fine lines and wrinkles. I have had one person with psoriosis and one with rosacea that told me they have had no problems with their skin condition since using this ultra rich skin cream. It is all natural and contains no parabens, chemical preservatives, chemical fragrances, or colorants. It's a very thick cream and a little goes a long way!
